Who is Fllay Allster?

Fllay is a very complex character, as you cannot define her with one word. She changes so much throughout the series that you have to describe each phase of her character. Fllay was never a normal girl, to start off she only had one parent, her father, George Allster, who was minister of the Earth Forces (Atlantic Ferderation), she was very spoiled and very close to her father. At school is was popular, the typical rich girl, with alot of friends and admirers. She overall had a good life. But the collapes of Heliopolis and her arrival in the archangle soon changed everything for her.

When on the Archangle, you see the 'bratty' side of Fllay. She is stubborn and prideful. Her words hurt more then she knows and she is extremly self centered. But although Fllay is all of those things she is not strong. That is she cannot hold her own when it actually comes down to it. She has a habit of leaning on people, though she does not realize it and would never admit it.

When her father dies right before her eyes Fllay's angry side emerges. Hated consumes her and the only way she is able to copp with it is by venting out anger on Kira Yamato. Of course this hurt Kira but it did not satisfy Fllay. As Fllay also has a conivining side to her. Fllay is very suductive, and uses all the in 'tools' in her possesion to get what she wants. But it is this exactly that which also makes her intelligent. See Fllay knows she is weak and helpless, but it's knowing those things and being able to somehow get her way is what makes her powerful.

As the series progresses Fllay learns what war is like and she finds out that her solution to end it was wrong. Feelings she did not know she had take hold as they are pushed out of her. Overwelmed with regret Fllay admits she was wrong. Because Fllay Allster was a character that made so many mistakes and was protrayed as a villian, when she finally realizes and opens her eyes to the truth of her ways it is very important. As she has become a women who is able to accept her past and try to find a way to solutionalize her problems instead of running from them or blamming others.

Fllay had so many different events molded her into so many things. But in the end she was finally able to bring her mind to peace, as her problems finally became her past and no longer contolled her.
